Emily M. Dickens, currently has oversight for administrative services, the executive office, and government affairs. Last month she assumed responsibility for leading SHRM’s Global Outreach efforts. As a result, the SHRM government affairs team has added Karen E. Mitchell, as a global outreach and international policy expert. Karen has been with SHRM for three years following nine years with nine years with the Organization of American States (OAS), working with high-level Government leaders from around the world.
Through global outreach, SHRM seeks to lead conversations regarding laws, regulations and practices that impact business and employment on the global stage—in alignment with SHRM key advocacy pillars, to make work, workers and the workplace better.
