In March, the Coronavirus Aid, Response, and Economic Security (CARES) Act was signed into law. It includes a temporary provision allowing employers to provide up to $5,250 a year toward student loan repayment as a benefit to employees through Dec. 31, 2020. Unless Congress extends the benefit, it will expire at the end of this year. Did your organization offer student loan repayment as a benefit this year? If so, we want to hear from you. E-mail us at [email protected].
Your impact stories will help highlight the use of and interest in student loan repayment as a benefit and will be instrumental in our advocacy efforts with members of Congress to extend the benefit beyond 2020.
